We got news today that we have received NOC (No objection Certificate)! We are under the new 800A/800 process so things are different from other Dillon families. Basically, our file has to be put on the shelf and not be sent to the Kolkata courts until after our 800 form has been received and processed. We can not have guardianship until that is all approved.
It's kind of frustrating that our case has to be held and not submitted to the courts when we know from other families' experiences that that part of the process can be quite lengthy and unpredictable but we trust God's timing in all things!

Oh, that new I800! Seems there have been so many frustrations as the kinks get worked out with it.
Still, I'm so happy that you've received your NOC! One more step crossed off so you can bring your gorgeous baby home.

Congratulations...you're a pioneer now! Boo for added steps but hopefully the I800 can be quick so you can get on with the rest of the process!

I am so glad you got your NOC - it is a major step. I am praying that the I800 process is a breeze and you can get right into the queue for guardianship and get that approval :)!
Congrats on NOC!! Hoping that since the I-800 is a new process that they give it special attention to move forward quickly!!

That's great news! Congrats!!! Hopefully CIS will speed things up so you won't have to wait longer than normal for guardianship. Or maybe you'll hit the judge jackpot and he'll sign you through super fast. I hope!!!
